Stopping water movement is not always easy.  SERVPRO of Vicksburg & Yazoo employees are trained to know how to stop water from spreading when a water loss occurs.  Here are some step we take to limit the spread of water once we get onsite at a water loss.

• STOP the cause of loss (stop the flow of water!)
• Extract the water that has already spread around the loss site
• Start setting equipment such as dehumidifiers to manage humidity.  This limits the spread of moisture through the air.
• Remove affected materials that will substantially slow down the drying process, such as baseboards and / or drywall.
• Then air movers will be placed to start the drying process.  We will make it "Like it never even happened."
